"A Time to Reflect" (aka Base Lockdown)

Due to the stupidity of Marines over the past few weeks, the Commander of the base has issued a "Time to Reflect", In terms for us to all understand.....Base Lockdown!! The only exceptions are to and from the following places:

- Place of duty
- Place of employment
- Place of worship
- Place of education
- Place of medical care
- Airports (for pickup/drop-off/approved travel)
- Transit from off-base housing to base

We are not allowed to go off base for any leasure activities. Like shopping, eating, haning out or going to the beach. "The ban on off-base activity is indefinite", a spokesman says.

Within the past two weeks, Marines have been arrested on charges of trespassing into a private citizen’s home in Nago City, drunk driving in Okinawa City, counterfeiting and suspicion of raping a 14-year-old girl in Okinawa City.

Well...I'm right there with ya' sista!
I asked Missy if she thought a reservation at Sushi Zen counted as "community outreach" and she said...."Ahhh - no!"
Oh well...I tried!
