4th of July celebration

Yet another American Holiday has passed us by here in Japan. Every year here at Kadena they put on an airshow of sorts for the 4th of July. More or less its an open base for the Japanese public to come and look at all of the jets. This year we decided to go down and take a look. They had all of your typical Air Force jets on the flight line. No flying demonstrations just static displays. After looking at all of the planes the kids wanted to go inside the bouncy house playground. There were about 10 different bouncy houses that the kids could go on as well as some small carnival rides. The kids took to the bouncy houses like we expected them to. It was fun to see them enjoying themselves and tiring themselves out. After we got done there we went to our friends house for BBQ. Not really a block party like in the States, however it was still pretty fun to talk to friends and let the kids run around and destroy someone else's house. Thanks Jason and Holly! Anyway the food was awesome minus one 4th of July favorite, corn on the cob, because it just cost too dang much! Otherwise it was a super fun time and the kids enjoyed themselves, which makes for a good 4th of July.
