Blocked

This is a quick ditty about why the blog hasn't been updated in such a long time.  Amy has been super busy with kids, school, dancing, and well being a mom with 4 kids wanting to do stuff.  I on the other hand have been blocked from accessing the blog from Turkey.  Yep!  The Turkish government has blocked all of Turkey from getting blogs.  I don't know the reason why but I can't update the blog with my adventures here in Turkey.  So for the next month or so, unless Amy updates it, it will be somewhat "sleepy".  The only way I'm accessing this is because I'm on an American base in Turkey (Incirlik) and was able to get on and drop this message.


The biggest news that we have is that we will be moving this month!   Most of you know this already.  We will be moving to Columbus, Mississippi!  Not our first choice but at least we will be together again in Oct.  That's right, I got hit up with a 3 month TDY on the backside of my 1 year remote.  I will be in San Antonio for training from June until Oct at which point I will be able to be at home with the family once again.  Thank goodness.  I will be teaching Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals, just like I did in Georgia before we left for Japan.  We are waiting for orders right now that will make it official but I've gotten a few emails from the assignments people telling me that it is a done deal.  It better be a done deal because shortly after we heard Amy flew to Columbus and bought a home there.  She will have to post pictures of it later.  We close on the 21st of April.  Needless to say she will be busy for the next little while.
