Peppy! The somewhat new Christmas Tradition...

A couple of years ago, Amy's mother gave us a gift for Christmas.  It's called Elf on the Shelf.  The kids really seem to enjoy it.  After we get the house all decorated with Christmas stuff Peppy comes out to play.  Every night Peppy goes to a new location for the kids to find in the morning.  This year we decided to chronicle the hiding places.  As a side note, this elf has been given a name by the kids.  We had a naming ceremony where the kids all agreed upon his new name...Peppy Bing-a-Ling.  That's right Peppy Bing-a-Ling Otis!

We've had Peppy up and around the house now for 2 days and this is where he has been...

Day 1 found Peppy sitting on the Fireplace hearth.  He is sitting next to the stocking anchors that spell SANTA.  This was an easy find for the kids.

Day 2 Peppy found a extra string of colored Christmas lights and used them to climb up into the rafters of the living-room.  Unfortunately he found himself hanging on for dear life.

Just another shot of Peppy and the string of lights that he used to climb up into the main beam of the house.  Again this was an easy find for the kids.
