Peppy signing off until next year

Christmas Eve was a busy day for us.  Devon and Corey went to the church and cleaned, as it was our Saturday to do so.  Amy and the girls went over to a friends house for a few hours to have the girls blow off so steam.  Once Corey and Devon finished cleaning they did a little Christmas shopping and then went with a friend to go shoot some shot guns.  It was fun although Devon had more fun pushing the button that sent the clay pigeons flying.  I guess he didn't care for the recoil of the shotgun.
When we got home all of the kids were ready for bed by about 630 which was fine by us.  They opened their Christmas Eve packages and then got dressed.  It wasn't until about 9pm when the kids actually got in bed and feel asleep.  Then the work really started.  We had several packages to wrap and then had to think of something for Peppy to do.  In Peppy's last night of practical jokes he simple wrote a letter to the kids and explained that he couldn't wait for next year for more tricks.
All in all it was fun planning fun things for the kids to see.  They really enjoyed finding Peppy in the morning.  We've got 11 more months until Peppy comes out to play again.  It's going to take us that long to think of new things to do next year.

Peppy was so tired of moving around that he found some place easy.

Oh my gosh! Your little Elf is so cute. Ours was quite boring. He didn't get into any mischief while he was here. He would just play hide and go seek with the kids. Haha! I'm loving your Elf's tricks, though! Too cute!
