One of the good things about being down in the south, and there aren't that many good things, is that Corey's brother, Uncle Chris and his son, cousin Nate live about 6 hours away. Uncle Chris had some extra time off from work and decided to make the journey out here to visit us. Devon and the girls were very excited to see them as it has been a little over a year since we had been able to spend some time with them. Chris brought out his 22 rifle and we walked across the street and decided to shoot some rounds at some pizza boxes. The kids had a good time. The down side was that it really was hotter than Hades! Later on we went to the pool to cool off. Then that night we took Chris and Nate along with Devon to go see Batman. Pretty good time for just a short visit with Chris and Nate. We will have to do it again soon.
