Campfires, Soccer and the Pumpkin Patch

Just another update on some of the things that the Otis family has been up to.  A couple of weeks ago we have several families over and had a fun time cooking out and then topped the evening off with a campfire and did smores.  It was fun for the kids and they really like the smores.  The weather was nice and cool to where a fire actually was nice and it didn't make you want to go indoors to the A/C.

Devon has been signed up for Soccer and has really been enjoying playing.  He has been the leading scorer.  He is actually pretty good.  His team has improved each game and we are hoping that this next game he can extend his streak with goals.

Luckily we live fairly close to several farms here.  About a 15 minute drive there is a farm that has a large pumpkin patch for the kids as well as hayrides, swings, a hay maze, corn sand box and a hopper full of cotton right off the plant.  The kids have enjoyed going there and playing with their friends.  Again the weather has was brisk but sunny which made the day even more enjoyable.

Kymbal at the fire.  She was in the middle of roasting a marshmellow.

Ray and Makenley wishing they could really drive my John Deere.

These pumpkins looked exactly like huge granny smith apples.  They were awesome looking.

Tonight we are going to carve pumpkins.  We will make sure to post the photos as well as tomorrow we will be hitting the streets to ensure our kids can get ample supply of sugar to last at least 3 days.  We will post those pictures as well.  You are going to die when you see Kymbals costume.
